Dody Adventure was founded by people who have passions in adventure trips, exploring cultures and photography. Based on our years of experience, skill and knowledge, we develop trip packages and events that are challenging, unique and unforgettable for our customers.

Dody has many years of experience in adventure trip, from climbing mountain, mountain bike, rafting, caving to diving. He has climbed 4 of 7 summits of the world, Kilimanjaro (5,895 m) in Kenya, Africa (2009) and Cartenz Pyramid in Indonesia (1989, 1990, 1992, 2005, 2008). He did solo climbing for Elbrus (5,642 m) in Russia (2010) and Aconcagua (6,962 m) in Argentina (2011).

He also the first Indonesia 7 Summiter who has climbed Cartenz Pyramid (Papua), Semeru (Jawa), Rinjani (Lombok), Kerinci (Sumatera), Bukit Raya (Kalimantan), Latimojong (Sulawesi) and Binaiya (Maluku). He enriches his library by climbing Gede, Pangrango, Salak, Ciremai, Tambora, Lawu, Sindoro, Sumbing, Arjuna, Penanggungan, Bromo, Argopuro, Agung , Tambora, etc.

He has a lot of diving experiences covering following beautiful spots, Taka Bone Rate (Sulawesi), Gorontalo (Sulawesi), Bunaken (Sulawesi), Raja Ampat (Papua), Teluk Cenderawasih (Papua), Biak (Papua), Gili Trawangan (Lombok), Nusa Penida (Bali), Komodo Island (Flores), Pantai Padang (Sumatera) and Karimun Jawa (Jawa).

Dody also a mountain biker who has visited a lot of challenging tracks in Java, Lombok and Papua. And not to forget his caving trips, he has explored many interesting caves in Yogya area and Sulawesi. Rafting is his other interest on adventures, down and rowing many rivers on Java, Bali and Kalimantan

During his career time as journalist and TV producer, Dody made a lot of research for interesting destinations and had extensive travellings to some mountains, national parks, tribe villages in Indonesia hinterland (Asmat, Dani, Mentawai, Nias, Dayak, Korowai, etc). As a very rare occasion, even for Indonesian, he had been used as foster child of a Dayak’s tribe chief.

He graduated from a state university in Depok in archeology in which he was also a member of his university student association of nature lover and adventure. He also has knowledge and many experiences in video documentary and photography, both overland and underwater in which he could give you advices freely for beauty nature spots.
